How Solar Power Can Save You Money and
Protect the Environment
Solar
power is a clean and renewable energy source that can
save you money and help protect the environment.
Through a joint venture between BP Solar and The Home
Depot, you can enjoy the benefits of solar power with
the peace of mind knowing that two of the largest
companies in their respective industries are there to
back up your solar system.
Learn The
Benefits of Solar Power
The
links on the left will step you through the benefits
of solar power and why NOW is the time to choose solar
for your electricity needs. You will learn about how
electricity is generated from solar panels, how solar
energy can reduce or eliminate your electric bill, how
federal, state and utility company rebates plus
renewable energy credits can pay for more than half of
your system, and how financing can provide you with an
overall monthly bill that is LESS than you are paying
for electricity today. In may cases, your electric
meter will spin BACKWARDS during the day while your
system is generating electricity. Your utility company
is required to buy this excess electricity at the same
price that they charge you for power. You will also
see how the installation of a solar power system will
INCREASE the value of your home.
Serving
the Southeastern PA and South Jersey Area
If
you live in the counties of Philadelphia, Bucks,
Montgomery, Delaware, Chester, Lehigh, Northampton,
Berks, Lancaster, Camden, Gloucester, Mercer,
Atlantic, Ocean or Burlington, you can take
advantage of the BP Solar and Home Depot program
through our network of solar consultants. If you feel
that solar power is right for you, we will schedule an
appointment to verify that you house meets the
criteria needed for a successful solar installation,
and go over what your net cost would be, taking into
account the number of panels needed and all of the
available rebates.
Home
Depot Helps Make the Financing Easy
If
you qualify, Home Depot can provide you with a
12-month no-payment and no-interest loan for a portion
of the purchase price. Typically, this would cover the
amounts you are due to get back from the IRS and
Pennsylvania or New Jersey. As long as you pay the
borrowed amount back within 12 month from
installation, you pay no interest on this money. The
remaining amount of the system typically is financed
with either a home equity loan or by refinancing your
home mortgage.

Your Home Inspection Today!

panels your house would need to eliminate your
electric bill, verify that there are no obstacles that
would prevent a successful installation, determine the
system cost, and go over the various rebates and
credits you will receive for going solar.
